Duromastic ACS
Duromastic ACS is the Number 1 flexible acrylic polymer membrane for waterproofing under tiled balconies, showers and bathrooms.
Suitable for use on most common lining materials and cures to form a seamless and lap free membrane.
Duromastic ACS cures to form a seamless and lap-free membrane over the substrate which will not re-emulsify under constant immersion when fully cured.
Duromastic ACS is a liquid applied membrane which when reinforced and fully cured forms a flexible waterproofing lining for showers and other wet areas as described in NZ Standard E3 AS/1 and Australian Standard AS3740-2010 “Waterproofing wet areas within residential buildings”.

Reinforce using Chopped Strand fibreglass mat or Sontara polyester cloth. (See under waterproofing).
Typical coverage is 1.5litres/ sqm to allow for a base coat, fibreglass saturation and heavy top coats.
